THE LEGENDS
Many legends that revolve their references around water are found in Armenia’s folklore.
Astghik, Armenians’ version of the Greek goddess Aphrodite far back in history was the deity of love and fertility, who later evolved into the goddess of love, maidenly beauty, as well as water sources and springs.
Astghik‘ legend lives on and the famous Vartavar festival is still celebrated today in the Republic of Armenia, with Armenians sprinkling water on each other for good health and luck. It is also an act of magic, as the belief is that spraying each other will cause Ashtghik to allow rain to pour during the hot Armenian summers.

RARE Water is interested in sponsoring events and activities to improve communication and collaboration with its customers.
Furthermore, the company seeks to contribute to the community by supporting cultural, artistic, and sports events and helping talented individuals.
As part of this effort, RARE Water has announced its support for the Armenian National team by signing a memorandum of cooperation with the Football Federation of Armenia.
Going forward, RARE Water will serve as the official partner of the Football Federation of Armenia and the water supplier for all national teams.
RARE Water participated in sponsoring a variety of events, including the Prime Minister’s Cup tournaments for various sports such as running, cycling, and table tennis.
Additionally, sponsoring events such as the Armenian National Basketball league, the 2022 European Men’s Boxing Championships, World Bicycle Day, Emerging Talents, Milan Fashion Week, among others.
RESPONSIBILITY
RARE Water is dedicated to environmental preservation and the responsible management of natural resources. Our approach focuses on the sustainable utilization of water resources, eschewing the use of pumps or reserve tanks. We employ a catchment system that allows water to flow naturally, driven solely by gravity from the mountain to our bottling line, without the need for intermediary storage facilities.
Furthermore, RARE Water takes its commitment to the local community seriously by consistently engaging in meaningful and constructive initiatives at various levels. We participate actively in community events and prioritize our responsibilities toward the local community, ensuring our operations contribute positively to the surrounding area.
